Urban Floor Scapes

Designers assigned to the development of this series were mandated to combine raw natural beauty with consumer demand for novelty and trendy products.
The result is simply incredible. The technique used enhances the rich grain and characteristics inherent in the species, highlighting the stamp of time on this living material. Although the accent is on natural beauty, the designers have added a contemporary touch sure to please consumers at first glance.
Taken alone, the beauty of a product does not suffice in itself. The flooring must offer buyers exceptional structural characteristics and an outstanding finish.
The E Series by Model uses hard maple (Acer Saccharum Marsh) from Quebec. Eighty-five percent of flooring boards in the collection consist of quarter-cut wood (sawed at right angles to growth rings). Model is the only company to offer this advantage.

• Colorado
  This modern stain was inspired by the landscapes of Colorado with its towering ranges and vast plains. Like the Rocky Mountains, this stain is amazing and sure to make a lasting impression.
• Idaho
  Idaho is about mountains, forests, rivers and deserts, a tribute to the majesty and vitality of the great outdoors. This colour is reminiscent of the ability of natural landscapes to instil feelings of tranquility.
• Oregon
  Bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the west, this state served as inspiration for the rich tones of this stain, kindling an inclination to explore the world and get away from it all.
• Montana
  The authenticity and immensity of this state opposing mountains and plains lured Indian tribes to its promised lands. This colour evocative of Indian land is also inspired by the discovery of gold in the region.
